This guy knows how to make a steak!
I once heard someone say “we overestimate what we can do in a day and underestimate what we can do in a year with a little consistent effort”.
Says it all really.
We can get disappointed because the big bang productivity goal we had for today didn’t quite materialise, but isn’t it more productive and effective to focus on little actions each day that drive us toward one big goal each year?
Sometimes, you have to put your head down, remind yourself what’s important to you (not to other people) and get down to work.
Sometimes you just have to plow through it.
Esther, keep helping; keep solving problems. The most valuable people today are those who solve high value problems.
Welcome to May. Wish you a productive month.
Today I closed a chapter in my professional life. Saying goodbye to a client is not always easy and sometimes the circumstances make it harder to bear and produce a level of uncertainty and anxiety. But in the midst of uncertainty there can be opportunity. One must learn the lessons that are there to be learned and seize the opportunity to build again, stronger and more effective than before. If you are not overcome by it, it will only make you more resilient.
When the world is falling down all around you, just let it fall. But you, keep on trudging. Keep your vision in-front of you and, come hell or high-water, keep on moving.
