Scrum: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time
Although I’m a fan of Scrum, Jeff Sutherland’s book is a bit of a chore to read. There are some real gems in it, but you have to dig through a lot of fluff to find them. He probably recognised that hence putting the simplified steps in the Appendix.
